Waterworks Technology School specializes in
job specific training. Taking a
practical learning approach, Waterworks Tech combines
small classroom instruction with hands-on training using
the best modern components available within the Canadian
waterworks industry. The School has two convenient
locations, one in New Westminster and one in Nanaimo, British
Columbia.
Waterworks Technology School is an
accredited post-secondary institution
holding registration #1735 under the Private Career
Training Institutions Agency of BC, and has 11 years of
success with graduates all over BC, most provinces, and
some internationally. Loans, grants, and other financial
assistance may be available to those who qualify.
The certification course provides successful graduates
with a Certificate in Waterworks
Technology as well as 3 competency based
tickets on fire hydrant rebuilds,
butt-fusion welding HDPE pipe as well
as drilling & tapping PVC & ductile for
water services.
This training, together with assistance in job
finding skills, resumes and interview skills is aimed to
provide our grads a foot-in-the-door to the always
thriving Waterworks Industry. Grads are employed by
Utility Contractors, Cities, Towns, Villages, Water
Districts, Site Servicing Contractors and Specialty
Companies.
