Waterworks Technology School

At Waterworks Technology School a partnership commitment means the school and the student work together, not just until their course completes, but all the way to successful job placement .

Each partner must commit to their part. The student is expected to maintain suitable attendance and to participate in the career development for each individual as guided by the Superintendent. The school will assist towards success by conducting personal practice job interviews with a Waterworks professional. Job hunting skills and work ethic development will teach each student what is required by them on a daily basis to get into the job.

Specific job placement assistance is provided each graduating student through provision of Waterworks employer listings. The listing are alphabetical, by region, with contact addresses and numbers for approx. 480 employers in the province.

Waterworks Technology School is a full member of the Greater Vancouver Regional Construction Association, the B.C. Construction Association and the Canadian Construction Association. These memberships provide access to insider construction project information. Literally, we know where the work is, who is doing the project, contact info, and project value. The project information has been determined to be the ultimate tool to point grads in the direction of the busiest employers in the Waterworks industry.

Of course, before graduating the student and the school work together developing the most effective resumé for their particular field of work in the Waterworks industry.

It is always an exciting day when Graduation Day occurs at Waterworks Tech. Family and friends are invited to witness the achievement of the student by joining us for a brief ceremony.
